The Old Course
As the name suggests this established 18 hole golf course is one of the oldest in the Algarve and has a gentle, rolling natural landscape to compliment the surrounding area. Lined with shady pine trees which offer protection from the sun, the Old Course is conveniently located in the heart of the Vilamoura seaside resort and is protected by an environmental code of ethics.
The original layout from the English school of golf courses has remained unchanged over the years, although the course has been modernised and renovated in order to maximise the potential of its design. The first few holes offer a gentle introduction to the game while strong, straight hitters will enjoy the 16th hole which provides a 522 metre stretch.
The first class facilities include a driving range, putting green, Pro-shop, restaurant and bar, providing everything necessary for a complete golfing experience.
