Pinhal Golf Course
Founded in 1976 the well known Pinhal Course is a popular choice due to the interesting modifications which have been added to the course over the years. Designed by Frank Pennink, the same architect behind the Old Course, this is the second oldest golf course in Vilamoura and a pleasure for all levels of player.
The course terrain consists of undulating parkland which is marked by Atlantic pines, ponds and a stream. These hazards make for an interesting game but are rarely a difficult challenge for the more experienced players, while the strategically positioned bunkers test the skill and accuracy of every golfer.
Some of the course's major renovations include the lengthening of several holes and the modernisation of the fabulous club house.
