Laguna Golf Course
This distinctive Vilamoura course is known for its low-lying, relatively treeless terrain which helps to convey a links style ambiance. Designed by American golf architect Joseph Lee in 1990, this hazardous course has been continually improved over the years making it a fascinating course to play.
Dotted with artificial lakes which serve as hazards and water reservoirs, the landscape is alive with aquatic birds, otters and
terrapins who reside in the nearby natural park.
In addition to the numerous lakes, there are 79 bunkers and strong coastal winds which add to the challenge of the game, calling for skill and accuracy throughout the course.
After a captivating round on this exposed landscape, golfers can relax in the friendly club house, practise their shot on the putting green or driving range and contemplate their game with some refreshments in the first class restaurant and bar.
